Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all purchases made via the IXL Trailers website (https://ixltrailers.com.au), a registered trading name of Trailers2000 Pty Ltd (ACN 076 601 048), headquartered at 10 Biondi Court, Beerwah QLD 4519, Australia (“IXL Trailers”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By placing an order, paying a deposit, or making a full payment through this site, you (“Customer”, “you”) agree to be bound by these Terms, which comply with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth).

  1. Scope of Agreement

These Terms govern the online sale of trailers and trailer parts through our website, including direct purchase, deposit-based reservations, and eCommerce parts sales.

  1. Orders and Payments (Trailers)

Trailers can be ordered directly via our website. If stock is available at your nominated depot, payment in full is required at checkout. If stock is unavailable, you may reserve a trailer by paying a 20% deposit, with the remaining 80% balance due before collection.

  1. Deposit

If the trailer you purchase is not available from your nominated depot location, you may choose to pay a 20% deposit to secure the next available trailer of the same type and size. Deposits are non-refundable except where we cannot supply the trailer within a reasonable timeframe or as required under ACL.

  1. Balance Payment

Once the reserved trailer is in transit to your nominated depot, you will be invoiced for the balance of 80%. Full payment must be received before collection. The trailer will not be released until payment clears.

  1. Delivery and Collection

Trailers will be available for pick-up at the depot location selected during checkout. Registration assistance and transport arrangements can be provided at your expense upon request.

  1. Non-Payment of Balance

If payment is not received within ten (10) working days of invoicing, the contract will be cancelled and your deposit refunded minus a $110 administration fee.

  1. Non-Collection of Trailer

If the trailer is not collected within 14 days after full payment is received, storage fees of $11 per day will be charged and must be paid before release of the trailer.

  1. Warranty

All new trailers are covered by a 3-year manufacturer’s warranty from the date of delivery, subject to proper use and maintenance. Warranty claims must be submitted in writing with proof of purchase.

  1. Title and Risk

Title to the trailer passes to you only once full payment has been received. Risk passes to you upon collection or delivery, whichever occurs first.

  1. Limitation of Liability

Our liability for any loss or damage is limited to the remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the sale, manufacture, or supply of the trailer.

  1. Force Majeure

We are not liable for any delays or failure to perform due to events outside our control, including natural disasters, strikes, transport issues, or supply shortages.

  1. eCommerce Parts Shop

Our online shop allows you to purchase trailer parts. Prices are in AUD and include GST unless stated otherwise. Payments are processed securely online. Shipping times and costs are displayed at checkout. Refunds and returns are managed in line with ACL guidelines.

  1. Returns and Refunds(Parts)

You are entitled to a refund or replacement for major faults and compensation for foreseeable loss or damage. Minor issues will be repaired or replaced as appropriate. Contact us within 7 days of receipt to arrange a return.

  1. Privacy

Your personal information is collected and handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using our site, you consent to our data practices.

  1. Intellectual Property

All website content, including text, images, and branding, is the property of Trailers2000 Pty Ltd. Use of this content without permission is prohibited.

  1. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Queensland courts. Both parties agree to attempt to resolve disputes amicably before taking legal action.
